AI visibility audits for Singapore contractors

When a homeowner asks AI who to hire, is your firm in the answer?

We ask ChatGPT a fixed set of homeowner questions for your trade, 3 times each, save a screenshot of every answer, and show you where you appear, who appears instead, and what to fix first.

Now open to waterproofing, roofing, electrical rewiring, solar, and renovation and interior design firms in Singapore. Other trades: join the waitlist using the same form.

The problem

The problem, in plain words

Homeowners used to search "waterproofing contractor Singapore" and scroll through a page of links. Some now type a full question into ChatGPT, Perplexity or Google, such as "which company is good for toilet waterproofing in singapore? need someone reliable", and may get a short answer that names a few firms.

You can't see those answers from your own website or Google Ads account. You don't know if your firm is named, if a competitor is named instead, or if the answer gives an old phone number.

When these tools search the web, they link to the pages they found, such as firms' own websites, directories, review sites and articles. In our view, if the information about your firm is thin, out of date or inconsistent, there's less for them to find, and what they repeat is more likely to be wrong.

None of this is a secret formula. Google says no special optimisation or markup is needed to appear in its AI features, and that the usual basics still apply, including keeping your Business Profile up to date. It's easy for these details to drift when you're busy running jobs.

What we check

What we check

Outcome

The outcome: AI answers.

A saved set of questions for your trade, each naming Singapore, asked 3 times on ChatGPT. For each question: how many of the 3 runs named you, whether they linked to your site, who was named instead, and which websites the tool linked to. We also work out your share of voice: of all the times any firm was named, how often it was you. Every answer is screenshotted and dated. Perplexity and Google AI Overviews: not checked yet; we plan to add them. The outcome is reported separately and isn't part of the readiness score.

  • Named in how many of 3 runs
  • Linked to your site or not
  • Who was named instead
  • Which websites were linked
  • Your share of voice

Readiness

A readiness score (out of 100).

Our own checklist, not an industry standard. It covers what your firm has in place that AI tools and search engines can find, in seven areas: search presence, reviews, structured data and FAQs, content clarity, mentions on other sites, licences and registrations, and AI crawler access. Each item is marked Good, Partial, Missing or Not checked; anything we can't check is left out of the score rather than counted as zero. It's what our fixes work on. The readiness score is a structured checklist, not a precise measurement.

How the 100 points split across the seven areas (rubric v2). Bands: Strong 70–100, Patchy 45–69, Weak 0–44.

  • Google Business Profile

Category, service area, phone number, services, photos, and whether it matches your website.

  • Listings

Whether you're on the directories and platforms relevant to your trade, and whether your details match everywhere.

  • Licences and registrations

What the official registers for your trade show, such as HDB's Directory of Renovation Contractors, BCA's Contractors Registration System or the EMA licensed electrical worker search (ELISE), and whether your website states your registrations accurately.

  • Reviews

How many, how recent, whether you reply, and what customers say.

  • AI crawler access

Whether your site's settings may be blocking the crawlers that search engines and AI search tools such as ChatGPT and Perplexity use to read it. Blocking crawlers that only collect pages for AI training is your choice, and we don't mark it down.

  • Website basics

Whether each main service has its own page, prices and FAQs are in text, and key facts aren't hidden in images.

We use public information only. We don't need your passwords for the audit.

How it works

How it works

  1. Request an audit.

Fill in the short form below.

  2. We run the checks.

We ask your trade's saved questions on ChatGPT, 3 times each, take dated screenshots, and go through the checklist.

  3. You get the report by email,

usually within 5 working days of your request. It has a one-page summary with your readiness score and your outcome (how often you were named, and your share of voice), the screenshots, and a fix list ordered by likely impact (our judgement) and effort. The list marks which fixes your office can do itself.

  4. Optional: a free 60-day pilot.

If you want to test whether the fixes make a measurable difference, we agree a short list with you. Where you give us access (Google Business Profile, website pages, structured data, directory listings), we make the changes ourselves, after you approve each one in writing. Where you'd rather not, we tell you exactly what to change. We re-run the same questions at about day 30 and day 60. We're taking on a small number of pilots.

  5. You decide.

After the pilot you see the before-and-after screenshots, outcome and readiness score, and decide whether to continue. Ongoing work is quoted to you in writing first, with the same re-check every month. There's no obligation.

What you get

What you get

  • A written audit report for your firm, with a one-page summary up top.
  • A readiness score out of 100 on our own checklist, with a status for every item.
  • Your outcome: "named in X of 3 runs" for each question, and your share of voice against the firms named alongside you.
  • Dated screenshots of every AI answer we checked.
  • A list of the firms and websites the AI tools named or linked to instead of you.
  • A prioritised fix list, with what each fix involves and who can do it.
  • In a pilot: a short report at about day 30 and day 60 comparing the outcome and readiness score with the first audit, using the same questions.

Straight talk

What we don't promise

What we do promise: the same questions, asked the same way, every time, with dated screenshots, and an honest report of what changed, including if nothing did.

  • We don't promise that ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews or any other AI tool or search engine will name your firm, link to your site or put you first. Those companies decide what their tools show, outside our control, and they change it without notice.
  • We don't promise more traffic, enquiries or jobs.
  • AI answers vary from person to person and day to day. Our screenshots are dated snapshots of what we saw.
  • We don't write fake reviews, create fake listings, post as your customers, or use any trick that breaks the tools' rules.
  • We don't claim to have special access to any AI company.

FAQ

Questions, answered

What is "AI visibility"?

It's whether AI tools such as ChatGPT and Perplexity mention your firm when someone asks them a question about your trade. We measure it by asking a fixed set of questions 3 times each and recording the answers. For now that means ChatGPT; Perplexity and Google AI Overviews are marked Not checked until we can run them.

What's the difference between the readiness score and the outcome?

The readiness score (out of 100) is our own checklist, not an industry standard. It checks what your firm has in place that AI tools and search engines can find, in seven areas: search presence, reviews, structured data and FAQs, content clarity, mentions on other sites, licences and registrations, and AI crawler access. It's what we fix. The outcome is what ChatGPT actually said when we asked: how many of 3 runs named you for each question, and your share of all firm mentions. We report them separately, because one doesn't automatically move the other.

Is the audit really free?

Yes. The audit costs nothing, you don't need to give payment details, and you're under no obligation. If you later want ongoing work, it's quoted to you in writing first.

Do you need access to my website or Google account?

Not for the audit. We only use public information. For a pilot, we'd ask for access to the parts we've agreed to fix, without needing your passwords, and you can remove that access at any time. If you'd rather not give access, we tell you what to change instead.

Can you guarantee my firm will appear in AI answers?

No, and you should be wary of anyone who does. The AI companies decide what their tools say, outside our control, and answers vary from person to person. We also can't promise more traffic or enquiries. What we can do is fix the things within your control and measure, each month with the same questions, whether the answers change.

Why might AI answers differ from what I see on my phone?

AI answers vary with the person asking, their location, whether they're signed in, and the day. We run our checks signed out, from a computer connecting to the internet from Singapore, with every question naming Singapore. That gives a fair comparison over time, but homeowners who are signed in may see different answers shaped by their own history and settings, so treat it as a dated snapshot, not what every homeowner sees.

Which questions do you ask?

Each trade has its own saved set, written the way homeowners ask and naming Singapore, for example "best waterproofing contractor in singapore". We show you the full list in your report, and we don't change the wording between checks.

I already pay for SEO or Google Ads. Is this different?

It overlaps with good SEO, and we're happy to share the report with whoever looks after your website. The difference is that we check and record what the AI tools actually say about your trade, which a standard SEO or ads report isn't designed to show.

How long does a pilot take, and what happens at the end?

A pilot runs for 60 days. At the end you get the before-and-after results and decide whether to continue. There's no obligation, and nothing is charged unless you sign a paid agreement. If you don't continue, we remove our access, delete any customer data you gave us, and you keep the reports and the fixes we made.

My trade isn't listed. Can I still apply?

We're starting with waterproofing, roofing, electrical rewiring, solar, and renovation and interior design. If you're in another trade, choose "Other trade (join the waitlist)" on the form. We'll email you if we add your trade, and we won't contact you for anything else.
